《Fly Me to the Moon》原本叫作 "In other words"，是首華爾茲舞曲，1954年 Bart Howard 作，1960年由歌星Peggy Lee演唱而出名。那之後，知名歌手Frank Sinatra專門演唱了這首歌，並收入他的唱片。1962年由 Joe Hannel 改編而大受歡迎， Patty Page的演唱將此曲的名起大大的提升至經典之作的境界。

美國宇航局曾把Frank Sinatra演唱的這首歌的唱片，通過阿波羅飛船送上月球，使得《Fly Me to the Moon》成為第一首在月球上播放的人類歌曲。
